Armenian heritage scanning project

TUMO, a leading international cooperation initiative will offer immersive virtual tours of Armenia's rich cultural and historical legacy with comprehensive historical data and stories from the locations. The initiative's primary objective is to digitally document over 100 key monuments across Armenia, using cutting-edge 3D scanning technology. The open-access online platform, will be launched in 2025, serving as a repository for Armenian cultural heritage and will be, continuously updated with new findings and insights. These digital replicas serve not only as valuable resources for scholars and researchers but also as accessible educational tools and aids for digital media production. TUMO will engage local and international experts in 3D scanning, heritage preservation and leadership development to conduct at least 12-16 training.
