To meet needs and be an effective partner, ALIPH is always here to listen to what you have to propose

Emergency relief

To respond to emergency situations, requests for emergency assistance are processed throughout the year via ALIPH's online platform. This procedure enables rapid support for measures to protect/stabilize/rehabilitate threatened or deteriorated heritage. To be eligible, projects must demonstrate interventions to halt or prevent irremediable heritage degradation that cannot wait until the next call for projects. Applicants must submit a brief, precise proposal.

In principle, the Foundation Board has set a ceiling of USD 75,000 for these requests for emergency measures.

It usually takes one to two months for a positive decision to be communicated to the applicant.

ACTION PLANS

Having identified the need for extremely rapid and flexible mechanisms in crisis contexts, ALIPH has launched several Action Plans through which a targeted funding envelope is released (between USD 1 and 5 million). This envelope is managed via a simplified approval procedure, enabling decisions to be taken almost immediately.

Projects adopted within the framework of the Action Plans have no fixed budgetary limits, but must finance priority heritage protection needs during or after a crisis. Applications for funding under these Action Plans can be made by e-mail to grants@aliph-foundation.org.

The ALIPH Action Plans currently open include more particularly the following:

Action plan for heritage protection in Ukraine;
Action plan to safeguard the heritage of the Kingdom of Morocco affected by the earthquake of September 8, 2023;
Action plan to safeguard heritage affected by the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
