Rehabilitation of the Beirut National Museum - Phase 2
Beirut, Lebanon
Following the first phase of work to the Beirut National Museum, the second focuses on the rehabilitation of the air conditioning and ventilation systems, which were impacted by the blast. To date, certain sensitive areas of the museum, such as the room containing 13th-century mummies, and the Tomb of Tyre with its exceptional 2nd-century paintings of mythological scenes, are air-conditioned by backup systems. Solar panels will be installed, and necessary repairs will be done to ensure the long-term hygrothermal balance of the entire museum.
